About This Project
The purpose of the “Sapthip Wastewater Management and Methane Capturing for Heating and Electricity generation” in Thailand is to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by applying an anaerobic digester system at an ethanol plant and utilizing biogas generated from the anaerobic digestion process to displace coal for the ethanol plant’s boilers. ClimaLoop has supported the CDM Validation with the DOE for the successful registration of the project under the CDM Pre-Registration Services.
